ISLAMABAD – Muslim League-N walked out of the National Assembly session today following the late arrival of Opposition Leader, Shahbaz Sharif.

NAB officials were suppose to bring Shahbaz Sharif from Lahore Jail to Islamabad for National Assembly session in time which was 4:00 PM.

According to Express News, the delay occurred because NAB officials had to change their travel plane. They were supposed to bring the Opposition Leader by air but the flight got cancelled. They had to choose the LHR-ISB Moterway route which caused this delay.

PML-N walked out of the assembly session following this delay in Shahbaz Sharif’s arrival.

Shahbaz Sharif’s presence in National Assembly today was of importance for PML-N as the top parliamentary leadership was supposed to discuss the involvement of PML-N in the re-union of opposition parties for which Molana Fazal-ur-Rehman met with PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif recently.

Shahbaz Sharif however reached National Assembly after some time of PML-N walking out of the session.
