KARACHI – Chinese consulate in Karachi was attacked today by a group of three terrorists on Friday morning.

Security forces acted on the right time and the operation against them was successful and all three terrorists were killed. Two brave Police officers lost their lives during the operation.

The security operation against the terrorist attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi was led by the SP Suhai Aziz Talpur, who joined the police force after clearing her CSS in 2013.

ASP Talpur rushed to the site of the attack and engaged the terrorists in a counter fire. She is the first female ASP from lower Sindh.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Inspector General (IG) Sindh Police praised her for her courage. “Suhai Aziz, you have set an example of bravery. These are the women who are ahead of everyone,” the Sindh Chief Minister, Murad Ali Shah said during a briefing to the Chinese consul general after the said attack.

Officers like ASP Suhai Talpur are an example for women in our country. Talpur comes from a lower middle-class family of Bhai Khan Talpur village in Tando Muhammad Khan district. She and her father was shunned by their relatives for her pursuing quality education as they were only in the favour of religious education.

Suhai came over all those obstacles and proved her metal in the 2013 CSS exams which she cleared in the first attempt becoming the first ever female ASP from lower Sindh.

Further investigations of the terrorist attack are under process. Police and other law enforcement agencies will soon present their report regarding the incident.
