Supreme Court convicts Talal Chaudhry for contempt

The Supreme Court convicted Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Talal Chaudhry for five years in a contempt of court case on Thursday.
A three-judge bench headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmad convicted Chaudhry till the rising of the court and fined him Rs 0.1 million.
As a result, Chaudhry will not be able to contest elections for the next five years. The duration of his conviction lasted until the conclusion of the hearing.
