PTI’s Hameeda Shahid to contest polls from Upper Dir

Hameeda Shahid, a leader of the women wing of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, has submitted an application with her party leadership to seek permission for taking part in the upcoming general elections.
She will become the first woman in the history of the district to contest elections if her request is accepted by the parliamentary board of PTI.
A large number of local people appreciated her for the bold step while few criticised her for the decision.
Indian police are investigating the deaths of 11 people from one family whose bodies were discovered in a house in the north of Delhi.
Officers arrived at the property in Burari at about 7.30am on Sunday after receiving a call from a neighbour saying that several people may have killed themselves.
They found 10 bodies, including two 12-year-old children, and a 75-year-old woman.
