Buzdar briefs PM Imran about Punjab’s progress on 100 Days Agenda

LAHORE – Prime Minister Imran Khan has reached Lahore on a short trip on Tuesday.
Governor Punjab, Ch. Muhammad Sarwar welcomed him at Governor’s House where he came after landing on airport. Imran Khan then went on to meet Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdaar.
Imran Khan discussed political, economic and administrative issued regarding Punajb. CM Buzdaar briefed him about the development on the 100-day plan of PTI government.
CM Buzdaar also briefed the Prime Minister on ‘Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme’ and other on going developmental projects in Punjab. Prime Minister’s Anti Corruption and Anti Encroachment Drives were also discussed.
Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the progress of Punjab Government saying “Punjab Government is going in the right direction”. Imran Khan said that PTI’s government has not only brought Tabdeeli but they will also make sure that the rule of law is established completely. 
Imran Khan claimed that the difficult period will end very soon and that good days are about to come. 
Prime Minister also emphasised that their main goal should always be the relief of common people and that PTI’s government will make sure it happens on every level whether its federal or provincial. Imran Khan directed CM Buzdaar to make required legislations to ensure it.
Imran Khan then met with Provincial Ministers and PTI Assembly Members to give them a comprehensive set of instructions regarding the up-coming Senate Election. 
Prime Minister’s last order of business on today’s trip was the meeting with Inspector General (IG) Punjab Police and the Chief Secretary Punjab. There have been some reservations and complains from MPAs and Provincial Minister on the role of bureaucracy. Imran Khan emphasised that bureaucracy is supposed to work under the directives of the choose representatives of Punjab.
