The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved to initiate an inquiry into Defence Minister Pervez Khattak. The decision was taken in a NAB meeting held in Islamabad. The meeting was headed by NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal and attended by the board of governors. According to the circular issued by NAB, the anti-graft watchdog has approved a total of 14 inquiries. A probe will be initiated against Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar, Sindh Assembly Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani and Dr Ehsan among 14 other people.
