Pakistan’s ambassador to America Maleeha Lodhi said Pakistan has always vouched for a peaceful dialogue for resolving Afghanistan issue.
Today, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Dr Maleeha Lodhi called for a political surge regarding reconciliation with Afghanistan as an attempt to reinforce that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s had previously promoted an administrative settlement to put a stop to the conflict.
In her dialogue in the General Assembly she argued on Afghanistan’s condition, and further stated that there was a strong worldwide agreement that long-lasting harmony could only be attained via a governmental pact.
She mentioned Khan’s first speech to the nation as the Prime Minister in which he repeated the country’s support for reconciliation, constancy and wealth in Afghanistan.
Previously, Lodhi stated that Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s visited Afghanistan after coming to power, adding that collaboration among these countries was a dynamic constituent of the attempt to establish peace in Afghanistan.
