Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has alleged maltreatement of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in prison.
Speaking on ‘Nuqta-e-Nazar’ ahead of July 25 elections, Marriyum said Nawaz is being forced to sleep on jail floor and his personal physician is not allowed to meet him.
“Only the doctors assigned to Nawaz (by the jail authorities) check on him. Nawaz and Maryam are not allowed to meet each other… but that has not deterred their rsolve,â€ she added.
The PML-N spokesperson said Nawaz Sharif is not being provided with home cooked food. “He at one instance was served substandard mutton. A three-time prime minister is being treated like this, she added.
