Inspired by the original Taj Mahal in Agra, a local trader from Multan, Muhammad Salman made a Taj-Mahal look alike shrine to honor his wife’s love. He wanted to make his love eternal and everlasting, similar to the way the emperor Shah Jahan did for his wife Mumtaz. He submitted his life into constructing this replica. The architecture for this replica was similar to Taj-Mahal, although not exactly on the same scale. The interior designing of this replica is also quite similar to that of Taj Mahal.
