According to the police, an Indian army soldier and six militants were murdered in three individual events in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, October 25, 2018. “In the morning, two militants were killed in a gun battle in Kreeri in northern Kashmir. Later in the day four militants were killed in another gun battle in Arwani in Kashmir’s south,” police spokesman Manoj Pandita stated.
A local newspaper remarked that the same day, an Indian army soldier was killed and another one was wounded when militants opened fire on an army camp in Tral, South Kashmir. The authorities claimed that the military began the hunt immediately after the assault in order to find the militants.There were protests carried out by people when the news of the demise reached them. The authorities have put a temporary ban on internet and railway services in order to better investigate the matter.
