Did Farooq Sattar go rogue and attend the APC?

The MQM-Pakistan decided not attend the all parties’ conference after the PTI’s Jahangir Tareen called convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui to discuss forming the government, however, party leader Farooq Sattar was there.
He attended the conference on Friday night along with PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, JUI-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman, JI chief Sirajul Haq, ANP leader Asfandyar Wali and QWP’s Aftab Ahmed Sherpao.
After winning six seats in the National Assembly, the MQM’s stance on the elections is unclear. Sattar attended the APC but Siddiqui is set to meet Tareen today to discuss forming a coalition.
Ali Raza Abidi, who lost the election in NA-243 Karachi to PTI Chairperson Imran Khan, said that the party decided not to attend the APC because they felt that there would be no point.
It’s better to take the legal route, he said.
