Yasir Shah in his heroic performance during the series against New Zealand, broke the pre-World War 2 record after 82 years of being the fastest to 200 test cricket wickets in only 33rd test match. This has been the highest point of Pakistan in terms of achieving milestones. Yasir Shah has been exceptional in the current series against New Zealand. In the second test match against the Kiwis, Yasir Shah claimed 14 wickets, leveling the record of the great Imran Khan who also claimed 14 wickets in a test match. Yasir took 8 wickets in the first innings of the second test match, and later claimed 6 wickets in the second innings, helping Pakistan win the second match with an innings win against New Zealand.

In the third test match, Yasir Shah was able to break the oldest record by being the fastest spinner to 200 test wickets, a milestone achieved in 33rd test match only. Although Pakistan doesn’t look too promising in the third and final test of this series but this milestone had the entire team in acknowledgment of the great feat achieved by Yasir Messi Shah and everyone bowed their head in sajda to thank the Almighty for this record.

However fans at home felt like this feat should have been achieved in Pakistan as only a handful people witnessed this remarkable achievement in UAE.
