The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) while rejecting election results of the July 25 polls, demanded resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner, as party believes the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has failed to conduct free and fair elections.
The demand was placed by PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while talking to media persons after a high-level party meeting at Bilawal House in Karachi to discuss party strategy following the elections, which have sparked a massive controversy and political upheaval as several mainstream parties have alleged poll fraud.
