PML-N demands to restore membership of suspended lawmakers

Ever since PTI led government in Punjab presented the budget for the remaining year, Punjab Assembly has been in the news and not for any good reasons.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) on Monday continued sit-in outside Punjab Assembly to register protest under the leadership of Hamza Shahbaz, over suspension of its six lawmakers.

Speaker Punjab Assembly, Chaudhry Pervaiz Ilahi suspended 6 members of opposition party PML-N because of their unparliamentary behaviour during the in-house protest in the budget session.

Opposition Leader Punjab Assembly, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif, said in a press briefing that it has been 4 days now that we are coming to debate on the so called budget of this government but our 6 members are suspended. Hamza deemed this action by the speaker as a biased one.

He also said that PML-N will boycott all the proceedings until and unless this biased action is taken back. He then went on to criticise other PTI policies.

Hamza Shahbaz also said that PML-N will wait until all of these false hopes and promises that Imran Khan has given, will collapse and people will come to know of the reality of ‘Naya Pakistan’.
