The rising stir of the #MeToo movement in India has proven disastrous for the entertainment world. It all started with Taunushree Dutta filing a complaint against Nana Patekar for altering a dance number so that he could get physical with her. Then came the rather “sanskaari” Alok Nath ji, who was accused of harassing and raping co-stars. Famous comedy crew‘All India Bakchod’ has collapsed after its comedians were charged with sexual misconduct.
Sacred Games has not only gained praises by the Indian audience but also has international admirers and viewers. Let’s hope the allegations are in fact false and the series don’t go up in flames.
