Opposition walks out from NA after Fawad uses ‘derogatory’ language

Members of the opposition briefly walked out of the National Assembly session after the use of ‘derogatory’ language by Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.Opposition members returned to the Lower House after the information minister agreed to apologise for referring to opposition lawmakers as “robbers and thieves”.The row started with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Nafisa Shah criticising Chaudhry for holding the party responsible for the loss being suffered by Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation. She objected to the statement which accused senior party leaders of corruption without any proof.
