British Prime Minister Theresa May is facing a difficult time as she will definitely be facing strong resistance from the skeptical MPs as she presents the Brexit deal to them. Theresa May has already suffered two setbacks on Tuesday.
The lawmakers commenced an epic debate which will be instrumental in deciding the fate of the Brexit deal being presented to the EU by British Prime Minister Theresa May.
British Prime Minister May said that in 2016, the people of Britain voted to leave the EU and now it is the duty of her government and the parliament to deliver on the result of that referendum. This point was raised in the opening debate which spanned over 5 days.
The assertive parliament however is constantly challenging the government and it seems like that the government is in on a collision course with the skeptical parliament.
The lawmakers before May addressed the parliament, delivered a rebuke which is being considered historic as they in their rebuke found the conservative government of May in contempt of the parliament as the government didn’t make the advice public which was received from the top law officer of the country about the Brexit deal.
