Afghan Chief Executive Abdullah: Need to pressurise countries supporting terror

The Afghanistan Chief Executive Dr Abdullah Abdullah has said that there is a need to apply pressure on the countries supporting and providing sanctuaries to terrorists and their organisation. Dr Abdullah is on India visit and he was in Mumbai to attend a seminar on Passage to Prosperity. When asked about the recent terrorist attack in Nangarhar. He said, ‘To combat such attacks, we need support from people of the country and apply pressure to countries supporting and providing sanctuaries to these terrorists.’ At least 68 persons were killed in Nangarhar terror attack.

Kulsoom Nawaz, the former first lady, was laid to rest at Jati Umra after her funeral prayers were offered at Sharif Medical City ground.
