Opposition Leader in the National Assembly and former chief minister Punjab Mian Shehbaz Sharif has said that he was detailed at a place where even light of sun could not reach.

The National Accountability Bureau on Tuesday was granted 14-day extension in the physical remand of Shehbaz Sharif in Ashiana Housing scandal.

Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz Tuesday alleged that Imran Khan was behind the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) urging the prime minister not hide behind the anti-corruption watchdog.

“Niazi sahib is behind the NAB. He should not hide behind the NAB after the arrest of Shehbaz Sharif,” Hamza said, while speaking to media here.

He lamented that the one who served the [Punjab] province for ten years is held without any allegations.

“Niazi sahib can’t see Aleem Khan’s loans,” the opposition leader said. “He can’t see encroachment of Bani Gala land, before removal of carts of poor vendors.”

While talking to media in a press conference in Islamabad, Fawad Chaudhry said, “The PML-N government signed agreements to produce electricity at extremely high costs.”

He said, “Quaid-e-Azam solar plant is the most expensive power plant in the world.”

Moreover, the Information Minister added that the price of electricity was increased by Rs1.32 owing to different plants.
