Shahbaz Sharif & Khawaja Asif rejected for being offered PAC Chairmanship

 In Khan’s ” Naya Pakistan” PML-N President and opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif and Khawaja Asif were refused of being offered Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairmanship
Prime Minister Imran Khan terminated the offer to employ Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) frontrunner and previous foreign minister Khawaja Asif as the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman.

Expressing disapproval over Khawaja Asif’s name, the PM interrogated how he could employ someone who is tangled up in money laundering cases at such a vital position.

The government also banned the name of opposition leader in National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif to chair the Public Accounts Committee (PAC).

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) governmental party had meeting with PM Imran Khan and considered over the appointment of PAC chairman.

As per some media reports, Pakistan People’ss Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s and Khawaja Asif’s were under debate for the spot.
