ISLAMABAD: A Punjab Police officer died after he was hit by former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf’s car on Saturday.
A First Information Report (F.IR) was filed against the driver by the deceased officer’s family.
According to report, the driver was instantly detained after he hit the motorcycle of a Punjab Police Officer, Zeeshan Abbasi who sadly lost his battle of life to fatal wounds.
It was confirmed by police sources that the official car of former PM was being driven by his driver, who was later identified as Abid.
A resident of Murree’s Jhika Gali, the deceased officer Zeeshan Abbasi was en route from the capital’s Zero Point to the Faizabad area when the fatal incident occurred.
The bike rider was shifted to hospital but he succumbed to his injuries. He has been buried in his native village in Murree’s Jhika Gali.
