PM stresses need for making NAB more potent

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday stressed the need for making the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) more active and potent to fight the menace of corruption.

He was presiding over a high-level meeting in Islamabad to review the issues concerning the Bureau and proposed new accountability law.

Finance Minister Asad Umar, Minister for Law and Justice Farogh Naseem, and PM’s special assistants on political affairs Naeemul Malik and adviser on Establishment Shehzad Arbab were in attendance in the meeting.

The prime minister emphasized that NAB’s actions should not create an impression of vengeance against anyone.
