SC turns down NAB’s request to reopen the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case

ISLAMABAD – The Supreme Court of Pakistan, on Monday, rejected NAB’s request to re-open the Hudaibiya Paper Mills Case.

The higher bench, presided by Justice Qazi Faez Isa, rejected NAB’s appeal to re-open the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case saying that NAB should first determine what the crime was.

Another judge from the bench, Justice Mushir Alam told the NAB’s Attorney to point out the errors in the Supreme Court’s earlier verdict.

Justice Isa also remarked that “NAB is fighting someone else’s war” and “Why is NAB ruining its credibility”  while rejecting the said appeal. He went on further saying that “A person doesn’t become dishonest just because NAB has pointed them out, you have to bring evidence for it”

NAB is under a lot of criticism from almost everywhere now days and opposition is adhering more and more strongly to this narrative.
