Children Protection is an important issue in Pakistan

Pakistan is one of the countries with 39% of its population as children. According to the UN convention, anyone and everyone up to the age of 18 is categorized as children. Sadly, Pakistan is notorious for incidents where as a society and as a state, it has completely failed in taking up the task of Child Protection. Khadija assault attack was such an example. After that, the Kasur incident of children pornography came out and it was realised then that there aren’t really any laws regarding that. As a country that is developing, what does it mean for Pakistan?
