was seen as a turning point during the last days of the Cold War, which aided in eliminating thousands of land-based missiles with ranges between approximately 300 and 3,400 miles.
On Monday, Trump claimed that Russia had not stuck to the pact. In addition to this, he stated that his decision to increase the US nuclear stockpile, is meant to target China as well.
Trump voiced his intentions while talking to the press outside White House, “Until people come to their senses, we will build it up.”Moreover, Trump bragged about USA’s nuclear potential, asserting that “until they get smart, there will be nobody that’s going to be even close to us”.
On the other hand, Russia refused of violating the treaty, and stated that they would be compelled “to take measures” if USA was to begin launch new missile systems.
