Newborn kidnapped from Jinnah Hospital Lahore

According to police, a new born baby was kidnapped from Jinnah Hospital, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. The baby belonged to Nadeem, a local of Kot Lakhpat, and his wife. The baby was born in Jinnah Hospital, Lahore at 2pm on Wednesday and was abducted at 9pm on  the same day.

The baby girl was in the hospital room along with her mother and grandmother when a woman in burqa entered. She stated that she was here to get the baby vaccinated and took the baby with her. The baby’s parents kept waiting for the woman to return but she never showed up. When they realized that their baby had been kidnapped, they reported the incident to the police the following day.

Furthermore, the police was able to seize the kidnapper’s rickshaw driver with the help of the CCTV footage. Luckily his face was caught on the camera and the authorities were able to identify his face. The rickshaw driver had dropped off the woman at Daroghawala area and come back to Jinnah Hospital.

Authorities claimed that the rickshaw driver is also a guard at Jinnah Hospital.

The medical supervisor at Jinnah Hospital has formed a three-membered squad to enquire this episode further.
