Ex-CJP Chaudhry’s son-in-law nabbed from Dubai in Eden Housing scam

Former chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’s son-in-law, Murtaza Amjad , was arrested in Dubai on Wednesday in connection with the Eden Housing Society scam.

“The ex-CJP’s son-in-law has been arrested in connection to a scam pertaining to a private housing scheme, Eden Housing,” Information Minister Fawad Chauhdry told reporters here.

“We have made a big breakthrough in the Eden Housing scam,” he asserted, while adding that Murtaza was arrested by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials from Dubai and that the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had issued his arrest warrants.
