Shehryar takes notice of lady’s misbehavior with police in Islamabad

Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi on Sunday has taken notice of a lady’s misbehaviour with Police in Islamabad.

In a statement, he said no one is above law in ‘Naya Pakistan’. He sought a report from police and directed to take action as per law.

According to the sources, Police has arrested the women for misbehaving and threatening police personnel for not allowing her into a diplomatic enclave 

The lady identified as the Dr Shehla Shakeel Sethi, a doctor in the US and had recently returned to Pakistan. She will be presented before the duty magistrate today.

An FIR was registered on behalf of Assistant Sub-Inspector Police Tahir Farooq in the Secretariat Police Station, however, she had been let go at the time due to the absence of a woman police officer.

Earlier, the lady misbehaved with police for being stopped to enter her car into diplomatic enclave without a number plate.
