COAS confirms death sentences awarded to 14 terrorists

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has confirmed the death sentence awarded to 14 hardcore terrorists.
 
According to details, the convicts are hardcore terrorists involved in attacks on security personnel and mass killings. Some are even included in attacks on educational institutes. 
 
In addition to these 14, another 8 people have their life sentences confirmed by Army Chief as well. Most of these people are associated with banned outfits who confessed to their heinous crimes during investigation.
 
Military courts have started giving death sentences after the APS incident when death sentences were started again in the country.
