RAWALPINDI – Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor did a press conference on Thursday and discussed a number of issues.

First on his list was the relationship of Pakistan with India. Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Pakistan has shown a gesture of immense goodwill by opening the Kartarpur Sahab Corridor but to our dismay, it hasn’t been received well by the Indian side.

Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the violations of cease fire agreement on the Line of Control (LOC) are increasing day by day.

Replying to the recent comment of secularism by Indian Army Chief, General Bipin Rawat, Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that India is no one to tell Pakistan what kind of state we should be. India should become secular first before talking about others.

Talking about the issue of PTM and Manzoor Pashteen, Director General (DG) Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor said that the initial demands of PTM regarding check posts and missing persons are already being worked on but PTM should not cross any line.

PTM has been demanding the state to take immediate action against the elements involved in missing persons. However the demands went haywire over which DG ISPR today in a press conference said that army has shown enough leniency towards PTM as PTM has gone too far now
